Email Marketing: What works, What doesn’t and Why

Hello guys,

Last week, we learned a simple truth that goes against the common fallacy that email is dead, we came to this conclusion based on hard facts. With this conviction in mind, it would only be wise to improve our email marketing strategy and take advantage of our new found knowledge. Based on this, let us take a look at how we can do just that; improve our email marketing strategy in order to build a great client list and achieve better results.

In the end, email marketing all boils down to the email itself, how it is constructed and structured will determine its success. So, how do you structure your email properly to achieve great results?

  1. Adopt the friendly approach: First and foremost, you should apply a friendly approach to your emails. People tend to put a lot of emphasis on first impressions, there is a reason for this, your introduction is very crucial. You should come from the angle of a friend. Avoid overly serious introductions and stick to friendly gestures.
  1. Tell bedtime stories 🙂 There is a reason kids love bedtime stories, I know you’re probably thinking; “Geez! My clients aren’t kids!” Even so, adults still have that inner child inside them. You can tap into their inner child and get them invested using a well-told story. If you can, inject a nice story people can relate to into your emails, it would go a long way in forging emotional bonds with your clients.
  1. Email once per day: I know you want to market your product to your clients, but the truth is no one wants to be bombarded with a plethora of emails. Don’t lose potential clients by being greedy. Provide unique content; allow your clients to look forward to your next email. Remember: Less is more…
  1. Follow up, follow up! This should be the most crucial step to email marketing success; ignoring the follow-up series is tantamount to wasting your time. Get a good email client and set up a great follow-up series, more on this in our video   courses. Go check them out.

You will be surprised at the results you will get if you can just implement these few tips discussed here. Remember guys, this is just the tip of the iceberg, there’s a whole bunch of secret email marketing strategies in our video courses, be sure to check them out.

Have you watched the video on the facebook ds? With facebook ads you can target for different results. Website Conversions means people going to your site and in this community usually means going to your site and buying something. Track them using the facebook pixel. You can also target for things like engagement, clicks etc.

Depends on the product and provider.. Usually express is around $6/kg and air freight $4 to 5.
Sea freight is much cheaper but slower.

UPS is Universal Product Code A barcode used for tracking trade items in stores. It usually has 12 numerical digits, which are uniquely assigned to each traded item (GS1 US). You can buy it on speedybarcodes and other sites.

The race to the bottom is a dangerous game. Instead of lowering price try to offer unique product, a bundle, a set, to stand out from competition. You lowering the price will just make other sellers lower their price as well, and now everybody is making less profit with no added benefit.

Think of doing a bundle or a set and RISE the price, not lower it

Ships from - your factory or your sourcing agend address. fulfillment center is decided by Amazon not you! (when you create a shipment)

hire copyright lawyer to do a quick research. Check trademarkia.com also google your keyword and see who might be selling related to it and close to it, what domains are free etc.

Hi Everyone, new to the wall. Excited to get going with tutorials. Off the top of the head questions; can the niche finder for Amazon be applied to Shopify when searching for competition and comparing it to demand? Regards.

Welcome Ryan! Great to have you with us!!! Yes of course. if something sells on amazon it of course will also sell on shopify as well. The demand is universal, it's not platform specific.

Videos provide two examples of searching niche. I need more. By the time I go to camel, and best finder, and video, back and forth, i get lost. I thought I found something, all looked good, until I went to aliexpress. Price was more than amazon! That was hours of research for a dead end. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

Aliexpress price does not have to be lower than amazon.. Aliexpress is only good for Shopify Dropshipping business.

If you plan AMAZON FBA business, then check prices on Alibaba, not on amazon! hope it helps!

Can't do FBA until business succeeds. The lower the price when buying, the better one can compete with anyone. I don't want to stock or ship, so I'll stick with the dropshipping model. I'll Keep searching I guess. The videos however are very good. Some company tried to sell me $3500 dollar CDN course on dropshipping. Was already doing what they are teaching. This is way better!

Thank you Leslie. Don't buy into overpriced courses. All the tools you need is right here. FBA model you can also start without big investments using the "alibaba wholesale" instead of whitelabelling... One of the videos cover it.
