Hello guys,

Hope you’re having a great weekend so far.

When it comes to business, there is a myriad of factors that determine whether it’ll become a profitable enterprise or not. You should know that one constant thing in business is competition; and if your business cannot distinguish itself from the competition, you’ll always be at a loss. I am not saying this to scare you; in fact, there is no reason to fear competition. Instead of being scared, you can take advantage of your competition, study them and use the knowledge gained to structure your business better and position yourself for success.

Well… Let’s look at how you can position yourself properly for success and profits!

  1. Grow your niche: Success should always lead to expansion. You should always be thinking about the next big thing. What is your competition missing? What aren’t they doing right? What additional service can you add to the one you currently offer? These are the questions you should ask yourself, never get too complacent; keep growing, keep evolving!
  1. Get familiar with your competition: It may not be easy to do, but the reward is worth it. Study your competition; learn from their successes and failures, keep yourself abreast of the latest trends in your niche. Stay informed!
  1. Understand your customers: Your customers should be your number one priority. Understand their needs and wants, and channel your resources/services towards their satisfaction. Happy customers equal better profits.
  1. Offer unique products: Are your products/services mundane and ordinary? Do sell with unique selling points? Ensure you stand out of the crowd by having a touch of uniqueness attached to your brand.
  1. Offer exceptional customer service: Customer service is often what determines if you will get return buyers. You should offer your clients exceptional customer service. Tend to their needs and requirements, show them you’re not just out to sell a product, but you also care about their success. Time magazine once put it plainly that the #1 marketing strategy for companies in the year 2000 and beyond will be customer service.

Start now! Imbibe these ethics into your business structure and see as you grow and start churning in more customers and profits more than ever before! We talked a lot about competition here, if you want a more insightful breakdown on understanding your competition and how to use the knowledge gained from them to build your e-commerce business check out our video course here

Im new to dropshipping... If you do dropshipping and sell more than one item on the same order, it can happen that the items are from different suppliers, how do you handle the shipping issue of 2 packages with your customers?

Not a problem.. tell they are shipped from different warehouses.. Even amazon does that.. The customer does not care.
Or the forwarder can receive goods and consolidate orders..

I think we replied that before.. Please use SEARCH first! Use the dropshipper's return policy.? You can use mail forwarding (virtual office) address for package forwarding..

Several options.. Liquidate It, Ship it back to you, Have Amazon Destroy it
go to INVENTORY > INVENTORY PLANNING , then INVENTORY AGE link. You'll see which products are coming up for the 6 month or 12 month long term storage fees. Just make sure nothing stays over 365+ days.
