  1. Get familiar with your competition: It may not be easy to do, but the reward is worth it. Study your competition; learn from their successes and failures, keep yourself abreast of the latest trends in your niche. Stay informed!
  1. Understand your customers: Your customers should be your number one priority. Understand their needs and wants, and channel your resources/services towards their satisfaction. Happy customers equal better profits.
  1. Offer unique products: Are your products/services mundane and ordinary? Do sell with unique selling points? Ensure you stand out of the crowd by having a touch of uniqueness attached to your brand.
  1. Offer exceptional customer service: Customer service is often what determines if you will get return buyers. You should offer your clients exceptional customer service. Tend to their needs and requirements, show them you’re not just out to sell a product, but you also care about their success. Time magazine once put it plainly that the #1 marketing strategy for companies in the year 2000 and beyond will be customer service.

FOB means that the seller ships the goods to the port (such as FOB Shenzhen Yantian Port), and then the remaining responsibilities (sea freight, picking up and customs clearance) will be taken by the buyer . EXW is factory price.. . It means that the seller finishes the products and the goods is placed in the warehouse and the buyer needs to pick up the goods from the seller's warehouse.

It does not.. And it works ok still, but it's more like OLD SCHOOL method to make money... 10 years ago it was a golden age of RA, but now more and more brands are closing their listings from piggibackers (RA crowd) so you might end up buying stock and then can't list it..

Say Vin, you buy discounted stuff in Wallmart, you sell it ... and then WHAT? You need to start all over again. It's not scalable business model. just a quick buck. I know it works for some people if you have a team of assistants helping find deals and listing them quickly.. Online arbing

Anthony.. Have you watched the video about it? We don't hate it, we just say it's A JOB and hardly a passive income. Moreover brands are getting it harder and harder for you to sell their products on amazon.. More and more restricted categories will create a slow death for RA.. It's much better to get into FBA or Shopoify at this point. 10 years ago Retail arbitrage was booming but it's days are soon gone..

No.. Amazon will not be the importer of record for any shipment coming in from overseas. Your shipment will be rejected. Your freight forwarder should take care of this! For example I use Flexport..

JAY - Cargo Insurance, Customs Bond, Arrival Agent Fees, Warehousing fees, Delivery to amazon warehouse fee and of course Custom clearance.. Your freight forwarder should take care of this and give you invoice if any taxes are due!

Check with your supplier to see if they have product liability in placement for you first as a customer, as most do.

He means product liablity probably... If you have a professional account you have to have insurance. Under ATO all Pro accounts must have $1 mill liability insurance. Its pretty straight forward. Also If you sell $10k for 3 consecutive months on your "Individual account" you have to provide insurance. Check Amazon TOS!

Videos provide two examples of searching niche. I need more. By the time I go to camel, and best finder, and video, back and forth, i get lost. I thought I found something, all looked good, until I went to aliexpress. Price was more than amazon! That was hours of research for a dead end. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

Aliexpress price does not have to be lower than amazon.. Aliexpress is only good for Shopify Dropshipping business.

If you plan AMAZON FBA business, then check prices on Alibaba, not on amazon! hope it helps!

Can't do FBA until business succeeds. The lower the price when buying, the better one can compete with anyone. I don't want to stock or ship, so I'll stick with the dropshipping model. I'll Keep searching I guess.The videos however are very good. Some company tried to sell me $3500 dollar CDN course on dropshipping. Was already doing what they are teaching. This is way better!

Thank you Leslie. Don't buy into overpriced courses. All the tools you need is right here. FBA model you can also start without big investments using the "alibaba wholesale" instead of whitelabelling... One of the videos cover it.

You need to do your research. To open USA shopify account you will need VPN, some USA forwarding address. But to use USA payment systems you will need more work - US company and bank account. You might also partner with someone from USA.
