Hello guys,
I saw this question which was asked by a user of the WALL. He was wondering if it was too late to get into this e-commerce business. This fear of being late in starting a business isn’t an isolated feeling, a lot of people often face this same fear. When that little voice in your head goes into overdrive and starts asking; what if I’m too late? Isn’t this business for younger people? There is already huge competition; the market is saturated… blah, blah, blah…
This type of fear of being late arises from the fear of competition or the fear of being too old to venture into business. When we look at entrepreneurs like Mark Zuckerberg, it appears that in today’s world, it is only the young entrepreneurs that are celebrated and recognized, this can be very discouraging. Cheer up! 🙂 I’m here to tell you that age doesn’t determine the success of your business. Research has shown that people over 55 years are twice likely to succeed in business than their counterparts who are under 35. Age comes with a ton of valuable experiences in life which would be useful to your business both directly and indirectly. The great Roman leader Julius Caesar once said, “Experience teaches all things.” So, if age is what is bothering you, dust your boots and head right into the game, it is time to get started, the odds are in your FAVOUR!
Next up is the fear of competition; in one of my post, I talked about how competition can be used as a tool for success. The way you can beat the fear of competition is to change the way you see competition; your perception here matters a lot. Do you see competition as an opportunity? Or do you see it as an enemy? Your answer would determine your disposition towards competition; whether it will be a tool for success or something to be feared. One thing to note is you shouldn’t obsess over competition; you will end up giving away your power, energy, and creativity over to things you cannot control. This would only lead to unnecessary distractions and stunted growth, the bottom line is; you won’t achieve much with this mindset.
Over at http://sellslikehotcakes.co/videos.php, our video courses will teach you how to approach competition from a position of strength and not weakness; you will be exposed to tools and hacks on how you can monitor your competition, learn what they’re doing right and avoid their mistakes.
You mustn’t allow anything to stop you from starting today. Don’t let that little voice in your head crush you before you even begin. SUCCESS is RIPE for the taking! There is no time like NOW
P.S: I will tackle his second question on how to find the right product in a future post.
So stay tuned!

paying just for clicks to cold traffic with no community just does not work, no matter how hard you work or how much you test! So my advice is first build a facebook community before paying for facebook ads. there is some great video about it in the sells like hot cakes course in the end of the shopify mastery.
