Don’t Underestimate Facebook ads: Here is why!

Hello everyone,

Hope you’re having a great time this week.

Today, let’s talk about Facebook advertising. Facebook is arguably the largest and fastest growing social media network out there, with a whopping figure of 1.39 billion active users every month. This looks like a business opportunity ripe for the taking. Unfortunately, a lot of Amazon and Shopify newbies actually have no idea about this gold mine sitting right under their nose. Others who feel they’re experts simply ignore the potential here and perhaps have grown complacent and are satisfied with their current results.

Regardless of where you fall experience wise, Facebook advertisement is a great opportunity and you should start paying attention to it. Aside from its low costs, as a seller, you must remain conversant with the trends and happenings of this era. Social media happens to be one of those trends, and it will be unwise if you fail to seize the moment.

In 2016 alone, studies showed that social media advertising budgets have doubled up globally within the past 2 years—going from $16 billion U.S. in 2014 to $31 billion in 2016. In 2017, analysts predicted a 26.3% global increase on spending for social media ads. This should tell you something; a lot of businesses are now seeing the potential social media holds in the area of marketing and advertising. DON’T be left behind.

Facebook advertisement is secure, convenient, cost efficient and very user-friendly. You would be doing yourself a great service advertising your listing on Facebook. So if you’re a newcomer, you need not worry about costs or any other complexities, and if you are an old-timer who hasn’t started making use of Facebook advertising, you should really consider doing so, you just might be missing out on additional sales and profits.

Here at sell like hot cakes, we are fully cognizant of the opportunities Facebook presents, and we have developed courses that will see you through virtually every aspect of marketing and advertising via Facebook. Even if you are already using Facebook ads, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that there is always room for growth and improvement. In our video course, we’ll teach you step by step, how to build an attractive and trustworthy Facebook page for your e-commerce business, tips for driving traffic to your store and using viral videos. You don’t want to miss this!

It isn’t sufficient to just advertise with Facebook, you must do it well! That is why we created these video courses, so you know exactly what to do, and you don’t make mistakes and waste resources. Check out the video courses on Facebook ad Mastery here.

Until next time

How do i handle returns in dropshipping method?

2
Claudia says at 21:01 et
Great question Liam!

1. if the product is very cheap it's easier to just refund, absorb the cost and don't ask the customer to ship anything and wasting time with it.
2. if the item is very expensive them ask them to ship to virtual office address (which should have package forwarding features) that will redirect later the item to your dropshipper for replacement or refund.
3. monitor the quality and complains and switch dropshipper with high returns/refunds.

Im new to dropshipping... If you do dropshipping and sell more than one item on the same order, it can happen that the items are from different suppliers, how do you handle the shipping issue of 2 packages with your customers?

Not a problem.. tell they are shipped from different warehouses.. Even amazon does that.. The customer does not care.
Or the forwarder can receive goods and consolidate orders..

Welcome to community! You will love it here! Regarding your question - Make a deal with your supplier or get your own Fedex and DHL account. Usually a big factory that ships a lot get special deals and lower rates on shipping.

pet rock.. hm.. Not really.. run the numbers on the Best Seller finder.. u see most sales are made by 2-3 sellers, others are struggling. It's also too cheap of a product, Average price of the product from top 10 sellers: $13.13 (Approximate FBA fees: $2.63)

For me works best reaching influencers directly.. I never had much luck with those paid services, they are just a middleman.

Why retail Arbitrage SUCKS?

 Emma says at 21:06 et
It does not.. And it works ok still, but it's more like OLD SCHOOL method to make money... 10 years ago it was a golden age of RA, but now more and more brands are closing their listings from piggibackers (RA crowd) so you might end up buying stock and then can't list it..

Claudia says at 21:07 et
For me RA is WORK... Not a passive income. If it works for you, fine. But it's not my song.

Say Vin, you buy discounted stuff in Wallmart, you sell it ... and then WHAT? You need to start all over again. It's not scalable business model. just a quick buck. I know it works for some people if you have a team of assistants helping find deals and listing them quickly.. Online arbing

Why you hate retail arbitrage so much?

Claudia says at 21:47 et
Anthony.. Have you watched the video about it? We don't hate it, we just say it's A JOB and hardly a passive income. Moreover brands are getting it harder and harder for you to sell their products on amazon.. More and more restricted categories will create a slow death for RA.. It's much better to get into FBA or Shopoify at this point. 10 years ago Retail arbitrage was booming but it's days are soon gone..

hi guys.. Can I get BAD product reviews deleted off my products page?

13
Claudia says at 21:25 et
It's very rare to get bad review removed.. Usually it's better to prevent them like we teach in the course.. see video about negative feedback removal.. Also read https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=12177361
Also dont over sweat about bad reviews, it's natural for any good product to have 1-2 one-star reviews, nobody is perfect and your customer don't expect just 5 start reviews, it might even look suspicious and fake.

Claudia says at 21:30 et
There are many advertising networks allowing you to start a retargeting campaign for your online store. Facebook, Google, Twitter. Use retargeting apps such as Rontar (for retargeting on Google) and RetargetApp and Shoelace (for Facebook retargeting).

It's Importer Security Filing.. As the importer, you are required to file some basic information before the cargo departs overseas and arrives in the US. Your freight forwarder will always taken care of this but double check always!

I just starting to do a dropshipping with Shopify and I'm from Thailand. How can I get customers trust me from USA?

 James says at 01:29 et
Dont say that you are from Thailand on your store. Buy a virtual address in USA, use fiver to proofread the texts (very cheap). See the video about building credibility, it helped me a lot

Sathaporn, make sure your store looks trustworthy, follow the common steps outlined in the video lesson about building trust.
- virtual address
- phone number in US
- forwarding service (to forward returns)
- hire virtual assistant to proofread your english if you struggle with english. (on fiverr for $5)
- put trust seals
- be clear about delivery time
- provide great tracking and good customer service to keep customers happy

Hello Im a fresh rookie Im a little confused on the Goal of 45,000.00 .....It reads...."Our goal is to make at least $10 per product per sale and at least make 10 sales per
day from each product, which means from five products, we are going to make
$45,000 at least per month plus your Shopify store profits and, of course, minus the
cost of sales, production, shipping and advertising. Our estimated profit is $45,000
per month. Well you can’t live with that but you would agree it’s a good start "

Is that goal only when you start with Amazon, or still good if you take the Shopify to start with...?

 Mike says at 10:02 et
Welcome Andres. $10 per product per sale and 10 sales is a universal rule of thumb for any ecommerce store. 10-10 rule some people call it. It's same rule no matter if you start shopify or amazon or even better BOTH channels combined.
