Handy Tips On Shipping Your Products

Alright, I’ll be frank with you from the start. Shipping can be a real pain in the butt! That’s if you don’t know what you’re doing. The trick of getting your products to your customers is a not so easy process; bad things can happen if you’re not careful. Knowledge is the key here, without this know-how, you will be going in blind, and you’re bound to get lost in one of the pitfalls in the area of shipping.

If you’re doing business with Amazon or under the FBA program, chances are, you will be getting clients from all over the world and as a consequence, you will be involved in international shipping. At your first trial, this may look like a handful, but as I mentioned earlier on, if you know what you’re doing the process can be relatively easy. Firstly, international shipping rates are reliant on a couple of things such as packaging size, package weight, insurance etc. To reduce the headache of their clients, most couriers help out by offering online shipping calculators which you can use to get a rough estimate of your shipping costs. These tools are important, ensure you use them.

Also, you must make sure you have the right shipping documents and that they are properly filled so as to avoid pointless delays and problems with the international customs. Don’t create unnecessary problems for your customers. Another thing to take note of is your packaging; you should ensure that your products containers are durable and able to handle the full weight of being stacked on each other. Also, make sure you utilize well-sealed cartons with package waste materials (like packaging peanuts) to prevent collapse and fill up any empty space.

Lastly, ensure your shipping pallet is strong and can tolerate the stress of being towed and lifted. Never exceed the weight restrictions of the pallet. DON’T be greedy!

Sometimes, your products may be too large or may even exceed the weight restrictions. In this case, it is best to consider freight shipping. With freight shipping, you are mandated to adhere to specific guidelines to ensure your products arrive safely in good condition.

Just make sure you don't stuck in "research" stage for too long. When I started I kept researching far too long and missed a hot summer sale season for my summer products. There is never ideal product with no competition and perfect conditions. Just TAKE ACTION and START SELLING!

Shopify Is Easier to Use, it's a turn-key solution. (hosting, ssl etc all included) + great app store to boost your sales.
WooCommerce is free opensource plugin and working with Wordpress which means you have to install and confirgure everything yourself, buy hosting, ssl separately too so there is no real saving just more headaches.
Go for shopify and jump straight into selling rather than micromanagement tech parts with WooCommerce..

WooCommerce looks like saving but in reality you have tons of hidden costs like domain, ssl and tons of extra hassles... Why not go easy with Shopify!

Try to build your list! For example run Facebook ad campaigns for newsletter sign ups , offer free desktop and mobile wallpaper, or how-to report. People have to put in their email, then we have a trigger set up on MailChimp to email all new subscribers the link for the wallpaper or report, plus we insert suggested products in the email. We get 300-400 sign ups a day at like 0.1 an email. Works like charm!

Call them to confirm or better via email because if he still try to ask for chargeback you have prove. They could be resellers, distributing.. google map the location is real, ship to billing address .. use paypal protection also..

hire copyright lawyer to do a quick research. Check trademarkia.com also google your keyword and see who might be selling related to it and close to it, what domains are free etc.

I had over eight merchant providers turn me down. For example, when you think hemp--you think...marijuana. Providers said no,no,no....Hemp is illegal, which it is not! And search Aliexpress for hemp clothing and what do you get, marijuana paraphernalia--not 100% hemp products! Hemp is just another tag for broadcloth. What I do not get is I have seen things like marijuana seed sites with a shopify or Paypal logo on their site? But.. I was denied by both of them for trying to sell anything that could be misconstrued as for marijuana..like vaporizers listed under Aromatherapy. Are not marijuana seeds sold for the purpose of growing an illegal plant in most states/provinces? Why the hypocrisy with merchant providers?

You see, every provider wants to stay safe. If you are new and coming with a first product and start with something on the "edge" like marijuana-related stuff you might have trouble for sure. Start with safer products, get approved easily, then get some volume going and only when you are a trusted seller add more edgy products. Hope this helps

You can experiment with different ways... They offer Json script and several widgets that you can place to your site.
Growing community takes a lot of patience, so keep going and growing it but dont expect fast results.

To grow faster best tip is to share top shared content from other pages. Save post or video from other pages (similar topic) and repost them on your page and mini-boost. Also research top liked and top shared contnet in your niche and repost it.

You need to do your research. To open USA shopify account you will need VPN, some USA forwarding address. But to use USA payment systems you will need more work - US company and bank account. You might also partner with someone from USA.
