3 Point Checklist to Scale your FBA Business

There is a tremendous advantage in being part of the Fulfilled by Amazon business; you don’t need a warehouse for your products. Picking, packaging and shipping are all handled by Amazon. This is one of the juicy perks of the FBA business that draws people to it. However, achieving success here seems to elude man merchants, this is simply because of ignorance and probably laziness. Just like any other business model, there are some key things one needs to know and do to succeed.

  • Building a website: A lot of people immediately turn orange when building a website is mentioned. To them, this is akin to launching a rocket; it is really “hard.” That is a common fallacy. I know you probably ventured into FBA without thinking about creating a website, but surely there are some advantages, here is why you should consider building a website if you want to succeed in FBA.
  1. Having a website would allow you to easily gain access and capture customer data
  2. You can boost your revenue by taking advantage of Amazon’s Associate program
  3. Direct communication with customers is possible by building your won client list
  •  Focusing on a Niche: Although some may argue that niche concentration can       lead to slow or stagnant growth, this is not entirely true. Sustainable growth is    achieved when you settle on a niche and few products. This is because you are able to  focus and prioritize certain products you want to sell. Selling too many products at once  can be detrimental to your business, because when you have too many products to  sell, a lot of your cash would get tied up in inventory. It is important to note that once    you are successful and stable with the products you are selling you can then venture      into more products to scale your business.

 

  • Ranking Higher for keywords: in a previous post, I highlighted the importance of keywords to the e-commerce business world. You must not ignore this if you want to be successful in FBA. We have handled much on this subject in our video courses; you can check them out here.

Beware of the gaming system some shady sellers use on Amazon. Amazon has become very strict when handling fake and automated reviews. Stay legit and work hard.

It does not.. And it works ok still, but it's more like OLD SCHOOL method to make money... 10 years ago it was a golden age of RA, but now more and more brands are closing their listings from piggibackers (RA crowd) so you might end up buying stock and then can't list it..

Say Vin, you buy discounted stuff in Wallmart, you sell it ... and then WHAT? You need to start all over again. It's not scalable business model. just a quick buck. I know it works for some people if you have a team of assistants helping find deals and listing them quickly.. Online arbing

Anthony.. Have you watched the video about it? We don't hate it, we just say it's A JOB and hardly a passive income. Moreover brands are getting it harder and harder for you to sell their products on amazon.. More and more restricted categories will create a slow death for RA.. It's much better to get into FBA or Shopoify at this point. 10 years ago Retail arbitrage was booming but it's days are soon gone..

It's very rare to get bad review removed.. Usually it's better to prevent them like we teach in the course.. see video about negative feedback removal.. Also read https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/?nodeId=12177361
Also dont over sweat about bad reviews, it's natural for any good product to have 1-2 one-star reviews, nobody is perfect and your customer don't expect just 5 start reviews, it might even look suspicious and fake.

Videos provide two examples of searching niche. I need more. By the time I go to camel, and best finder, and video, back and forth, i get lost. I thought I found something, all looked good, until I went to aliexpress. Price was more than amazon! That was hours of research for a dead end. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

Aliexpress price does not have to be lower than amazon.. Aliexpress is only good for Shopify Dropshipping business.

If you plan AMAZON FBA business, then check prices on Alibaba, not on amazon! hope it helps!

Can't do FBA until business succeeds. The lower the price when buying, the better one can compete with anyone. I don't want to stock or ship, so I'll stick with the dropshipping model. I'll Keep searching I guess.The videos however are very good. Some company tried to sell me $3500 dollar CDN course on dropshipping. Was already doing what they are teaching. This is way better!

Thank you Leslie. Don't buy into overpriced courses. All the tools you need is right here. FBA model you can also start without big investments using the "alibaba wholesale" instead of whitelabelling... One of the videos cover it.
