Generally, there is a popular conception that the meaning of names has a special effect on the object that bears the name. Independent of superstitions, we can proclaim that this is true when it comes to business. The name of your brand determines a lot; including how your customers perceive you and your products. Names are special, and can doom your business to abject failure or propel you to outstanding success.

When naming your brand, you should ensure the name you pick is able to convey uniqueness, expertise and value of the product or service which you are offering. However, when we look at things objectively, we can see that a good brand name is only as valuable as the marketing strategy employed. This doesn’t undermine the import of picking a good name for your e-commerce brand.

Whether the name you pick for your brand is abstract, specific, coined or informative, the following tips would help serve as guidelines for picking a great, catchy and memorable brand name.

  • Ensure the name you pick isn’t just something you like, but something that will also resonate with your customers
  • Avoid long, complex names. They may become too confusing for your customers, you want something they can easily remember and tell their friends about 🙂

  • Avoid incorporated prefixes; don’t use “.inc” after your name, unless your brand is actually incorporated

I used to do a hybrid of both physically stocked inventory and drop shipped products. I usually dropship from warehouses based in the US so it's faster.. and international ones from CHINA.. My advice, start by dropshipping first to validate products amd test and build momentum.. once you see it sells well get fulfilling inventory on the products that sell the most!

I am confused with Facebook ads.. It shows on my FB ad is set I've got 15 conversions but in shopify i just got only 7 sales. WTF?

Eric. Conversions can be of multiple types. Add to cart, view content etc are all counted as conversions. hover over 15 conversions and see how they are broken down.. In short Conversion = Action. It does not mean sale.

Dont be discarded about drop shipping there are lots of people have succeeded in drop shipping, my advice drop ship is good when you do it internationally. I have no problems with international customers.

You can reduce the delivery time.. Try DHL, i pass the cost to the consumer, i find consumer will pay the xtra amount to get the instant gratification they seek in online shopping.. Or find domestic suppliers..
It is Ok to use AlieExpress - just make sure that your customers know about the delivery times and the reason is because all products are made to order and direct from the factory.
Then scale up and move slowly to FBA once you know what sells best for your store and fullfill via amazon prime!

I have watched a lot of videos and I understand what they are telling me to do. However, I can't memorize an all the instructions. Is there a written text instruction that I can reread the instructions as I am filling out the forms? I have been putting everything on my reading list but don't know if that is enough.
