Information Overload: The Bane of the Modern Entrepreneur

I’m going to be quite frank with you, getting into any business (not just e-commerce) would require knowing so much, having a strong idea of the kind of business you are getting into and all its technicalities is a must. However, in this process of accumulating the necessary information about your intended business, one can get stuck in the learning phase and not really end up doing anything.

This is the demerit of a world run by information – information overload. It is something that happens to nearly every entrepreneur. You just have to reach that point and tell yourself that it’s now or never. What most entrepreneurs fail to recognize is that the opportunity to learn will never end. We are humans, and there is always something new, some new strategy or technique, some new app or tool, something new will always come up and that is the beauty of business. This addiction to information is only masking something else; the fear of Failing. Failing doesn’t make you a failure; you only become a failure if you chose to believe you are one. The experience of failing should be seen as nothing more than an experience, not something that dictates the destiny of your business. Remember the aphorism which says that “experience is the best teacher?” well… this should be how you treat experiences, as a teacher. So, if you crash, pick yourself up, learn from your mistakes and keep going.

On shopify you can increase your profits margins by increasing your prices, as your visitors cant compare your offer to competitor offers like on Amazon and pick cheapest.
Moreover you can build your list and drive your own traffic from facebook (you would not do it to amazon, as you cant build your list from amazon)... Cons? Well, you won't get easy organic sales like on Amazon just from having shopify store. So still you need to drive some traffic to get it going! but it works, I know many people sell their own products on shopoify not just dropshippers!

Call them to confirm or better via email because if he still try to ask for chargeback you have prove. They could be resellers, distributing.. google map the location is real, ship to billing address .. use paypal protection also..

It's pretty accurate but it's only a GUIDE, not exact amount. You need to understand that amazon does not release real sales amounts on public. So it's an EDUCATED GUESS. The problem is that all of that information is based on the sales rank at the time you are viewing the product. So if they ran some promo last week they have more BSR than usual.

That's why good to use TRACKING tools like "Track my product" in sells lik ehot cakes..

FBA toolkit, Unicorn smasher, Jungle scout, all give you some estimate. Nothing is "ACCURATE" and cant be accurate as you dont know real numbers, only amazon does... all tools just try to help you research. Dont worry about "accuracy".

Click on Orders and then click on Manage orders. if they have left their actual name, you can find them through a paid tool called 'sellermail'.

Let go... Most likely it's your competitor, more over amazon does not allow you to ask customers to remove bad reviews directly. You can get in trouble. Nobody expects your product to ONLY have 5 start reviews, so don't worry about it. You can't please everyone. Just keep providing great service and good reviews will cover a stinker!

Videos provide two examples of searching niche. I need more. By the time I go to camel, and best finder, and video, back and forth, i get lost. I thought I found something, all looked good, until I went to aliexpress. Price was more than amazon! That was hours of research for a dead end. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

Aliexpress price does not have to be lower than amazon.. Aliexpress is only good for Shopify Dropshipping business.

If you plan AMAZON FBA business, then check prices on Alibaba, not on amazon! hope it helps!

Can't do FBA until business succeeds. The lower the price when buying, the better one can compete with anyone. I don't want to stock or ship, so I'll stick with the dropshipping model. I'll Keep searching I guess.The videos however are very good. Some company tried to sell me $3500 dollar CDN course on dropshipping. Was already doing what they are teaching. This is way better!

Try Aweber.com , convertkit.com , getresponse, mailchimp or icontact. I used almost all of them, pretty easy, drag and drop email creation... Make sure to watch our video about Email Mastery as well ;)

There is no specific answer to this. You know Amazon itself is "everything store" and they are very successful. At the same time a lot of shopify stores are "one product only" or "one niche only". If you target specific niche (like pugs lovers, pug owners for example) then your store should have only products for pugs, because if they see the product for bulldog, they will be frustrated and leave). I hope it helps, but there is no RIGHT or WRONG way here.

I would suggest

1. If you go with "everything store" then research top competitor everything stores and make sure to sell similar products by similar prices. This will reduce chance of failure.

2. If you go specific niche, again use competitor spy tools and find out best selling products in competitor stores and duplicate them.
