The Perks of Having a Steady Stream of Passive Income

The words passive income is often thrown around, but most people don’t know the actually meaning and as a result of this, it is usually misconstrued for something else. Passive income simply means a source of cash for individual requiring little or no effort.

Selling on Amazon and Shopify qualifies as passive income because with the right tools and following the correct steps, you needn’t work too much to earn money, the business can be automated bring you in cash steadily.

So why is passive income important? Here are the reasons.

It makes you a value provider: it’s no secret that people who offer value are people who make money. In other words, to make money, you’ve got to offer value. Selling on Amazon and Shopify provides you with the opportunity to offer value in terms of the product(s) you sell to a customer somewhere out there who is in need of it

Enhances your learning abilities: One cannot magically grow money on trees, to have a passive income, you must learn how to run the business. Online retailing requires a bit of dedication, you have to study and learn how to successfully run your own online store. The knowledge you will gain in studying about this business would help you provide value for your customers. For example, you can study the market for trends and then start selling a product that is in demand, by selling this product you are now providing value for a customer in need.

More Time To Yourself: Isn’t it funny that people often complain about not having enough time to learn the ropes of building a solid e-commerce business. The irony of the situation is that if you take the pains to study and establish your business, it will give you the flexibility of having more time for other things in your life while raking up some serious cash by the side…remember $45,000 per month! That’s no joke!

Going on Vacations: Who doesn’t want to take some time off and go chill out on a beach in Miami while sipping on some Kool-Aid? The good news here is that your fantasies have a better chance of coming to reality if you are able to successfully setup a passive income for yourself.

In summary, establishing a steady flow of passive income is tremendously beneficial, there is no doubt about that. The question here now is, are you ready for it? Are you ready for financial independence? Are you ready to handle the power of true liberty?

Btw, I got a reply to my question "How many keywords to put into listing?" from Amazon!

Response from amazon directly:
Greetings from Amazon Seller Support, There is no "right" amount of keywords that should be provided for a product. There is a 1,000 character limit for keywords. These 1,000 characters can be provided all on one line or split between 5 lines.

That's why doing it on Shopify makes more sense, like the course is teaching.. So that you can mark up prices higher and no competition or related products are shown!
Also I believe it's possible to find products with better profit margins on Amazon. also remember you can still bundle it!
I think having an amazon dropship business could be helpful for a lot of ppl? but shopify is a way to go to start it. Amazon still better for FBA!

a) in case of BIG products like umbrella, put 2 chairs and white sheets and take your photos, then remove background in photoshop
b) in case of small products use white BOX-setup like this http://imgur.com/a/VcRVM

When running a promotion, what is the recommended discount for the sale to count as a verified review and feed the amz algorithm?

Amazon does not reveal exact cutoff data for "verified" vs "unverified". some people say it's 50% but it's a wild guess. It does not matter really. Don't overthink it Father.

I give minimum of 80% off. Keeps buyers happy and many reviews coming (WITHOUT asking even with new policies all ok).

do we really need to wait for our first product to sell at least 10 items per day as suggested ? is this still a valid benchmark to work with?

Yes but you don't just sit and wait, you prepare your next product while promoting and launching previous ones!

I want to open a store selling oils and alternative health products. Will there be issues shipping to the U.S. like customs?

 Violet says at 04:54 et
It's hard to say, are you shipping in mass quantities or one by one? Usually anything for personal use does not go to customs. Best advice here is to find your competitors selling same and then ask their support something like "Hi, I am from Chicago, do you ship your oils to USA and do I have to pay any taxes?" So they will help you this way :)

 Gautam says at 01:59 et
I guess in mass quantities; I can use the Amazon FBA so they can tackle customs. But for shipping one by one, from your answer, it seems I will not have issues shipping to the US or Europe. In India(where I live), however, they charge customs even if it is a single item and for personal use. So, I think I should be okay. I will use the trick you mentioned too. Cheers!

Does your store (mybestfriend.store) is Everything Store or Niche Specific Store?

It's "everything dog related store". Niche specific store would be "Dog's Frisby Store" "Pug Toy Store" or "Dog Halloween Store"

I know that combating procrastination is an important common theme here – But I think maybe you guys have forgotten how intimidating and overwhelming some of this is. Yesterday for about 6 hours I was really going though some negative emotions – Thinking no way this can work and no one is going to responded to these products I am putting up – What took me out of this funk was 1) the fact that I am starting this business for very little money 2) the realization that doing something I least had a better shot and making it than I had doing NOTHING – Might sound simplistic but that’s the edgy thinking it took for me. I think what maybe the more experienced folks here have disregard is how over whelming it can be when you can latterly chose ANYTHING for you shopify niche and product line – that is awesome and daunting all at the same time….. God I hope I get the White label level soon …LOL One last thought fear of success and fear of failure seem to go hand in hand and feed off of one another…

Wow well said Wade. I went through similar hardships when starting out... What if people don't buy my product? What if it's too late? But then again what do I have to lose? It's not like i am investing 100,000 into this.

Good Luck Wade! You are on the right track just by giving it a try. 99% of people fail because they never start and give it a chance.

how much should i charge for international shipping for "free + shipping offers"? If a client buys a "free+shipping offer" directly from my site more than once - how much should i charge for every "free+shipping item" added?

 Lane says at 03:41 et
It's hard to say without knowing your product, location or shipping costs how much you should charge. Best tip here is see what competitor is charging so you will get a rough idea. Maybe $19.95 for a Tshirt or $9.95 for a Mug

I don't see a need to limit the amount of "free+shipping item" as long as you are making profits and have good margins

New video added (NEW!) Visiting Coffee Factory Insights & Tips
Today we are in Guangzhou, an industrial city in China and visiting a
Coffee Maker Factory that is producing coffee makers for the top
European brands. We will see the production, show you real life
insights on how Chinese factories look and work, what questions you
should be asking when visiting your supplier and what quality control
is in place. Great insights from the real Chinese factory!

As a bonus we are sharing great tips for Amazon FBA sellers.

Visiting China is not required but will put you ahead of competition
if you really go extra mile and visit your suppliers and establish
personal level of trust with them. It's much harder for supplier to
scam you and provide poor quality if he knows that you can just hop on
the plane and visit their factory in person next day to check the
quality! Trust me, it works!
