Christmas is just around the corner; buyers are gearing up to make holiday purchases, and gifts for their loved ones. Did you prepare ahead for this season as we advised earlier??
Right now a lot of e-commerce businesses are struggling to put together marketing plans to handle 2017’s holiday sales. This last-minute scrambling is not healthy; planning for the Yuletide is something that should have been done months ago!
Okay, okay, I’m not gonna scold you too much! After all, the deed is already done, and there is no use crying over spilled milk, but if the question on your mind is how do I correct my mistakes, how can I take full advantage of this holiday season and make profit?
Then…. You’re in luck!
I have answers!!
Today, we’ll be looking at ways you can improve sales and take full advantage of the holiday.
1. Revisit your email list: We have continually emphasized on the merits of building an email list, as a good online merchant, you should have one by now. There is no better time to utilize your email list than during the holiday period. Your email list consists of people that are regular customers, familiar visitors on your websites and people that are really conversant with your products and what you have to offer. It is time to reach out to these people and inform them of your new offerings for the holiday including discounts prices. Let them know that you value their patronage and encourage them to take advantage of any sales promotion you are offering for the holiday. Maintaining contact with previous customers is essential to having repeat buyers. Do not neglect your email list!
2. Coupons! COUpons! COUPONS: Nothing makes a customer feel better than the feeling of “making a deal.” Give your customer this feeling this holiday season by distributing coupons and discount codes. This will increase the number of visits your website will get and also the chance of visitors making purchases! Everybody knows free shipping and other discount promos help with sales, so why get left behind, take full advantage of this during this holiday season! Don’t be selfish, encourage your customers to make deals with you, remember the controversial president of a certain country got rich by making deals. Deal-making is a crucial part of sales, embrace the coupon!
3. Customer Service: This holiday season is a period of showing love and kindness, why don’t you transfer these traits to your customer service? Begin to spend time engaging your customers and providing support through your various platforms including social media. This not only helps builds the anticipation, but also makes your customers more endeared towards you, and help expand your customer base.
So you see, even though customer service and engagement might seem like a time-consuming endeavor, it is definitely worth it! Every merchant needs loyal customers, and good customer service offering is a step in the right direction.
Remember, the holiday season is already here, don’t waste time, start implementing these tips so that you can reap the full benefits of Christmas, end the year on a good note and smile home to the bank!
Best of luck!

Does your store (mybestfriend.store) is Everything Store or Niche Specific Store?
I have finished watching the video about "incorporation and taxes" but I'm lost. If I understood correctly the suggested way to open a seller central account is as a professional.
-What do I need to open a professional account?
-Do I need a LLC? bank account? address??
Can someone explain ---> my situation will be "Rest of the world selling in the US"
Thank you!
