Another New Year is upon us again; we have set goals, made promises and even the usual New Year Resolutions that nobody adheres to :).

Most of us are doing the usual stuff we do when the year is over; we are primed to repeat the same mistakes of the previous year if we are set on repeating the harmful actions we took in 2017.

This isn’t some pessimistic outlook on the New Year.

It is the SAD TRUTH!

A lot of entrepreneurs will fail this year because they refused to take advantage of new opportunities and wasted their time doing the same ol’ stuff they did last year, leading to the same results.

In 2017, we created a ton of articles to help you sky rocket your e-commerce business to new heights, we dropped HOT Steaming TIPS and TRICKS to aid you in your journey to building a successful online store, heck, we even showed you amazing TOOLS that’ll take your online business to the next level.

All these would definitely be in vain if you didn’t make use of them.

2018 isn’t the year of complacency and inaction! It is the year of fierce competition and innovation!

You cannot remain on the sidelines while others run the race, you cannot choose to be complacent and sit on million dollar ideas while other merchants take advantage of the opportunity, you cannot afford to fail in 2018.

My challenge to you is to shift from complacency to hard work, from inaction to action, from failure to success!

Regardless of where you are currently, or what you feel you have achieved in your business, the truth is that there is always a chance to grow, always an opportunity to learn and improve.

Let us not make the usual New Year resolutions that nobody takes serious anymore, instead let us set business goals that will challenge us, keep us on our toes and help our business grow.

But REMEMBER!

It is useless setting goals without taking action!

We must be ready to act upon the knowledge we have gained, and I assure you that if we can ‘act,’ 2018 will be a year of tremendous success!

Success or failure is within your reach and based on the moves you make.

You are captain of your soul and master of your fate.

Great question Liam!

1. if the product is very cheap it's easier to just refund, absorb the cost and don't ask the customer to ship anything and wasting time with it.
2. if the item is very expensive them ask them to ship to virtual office address (which should have package forwarding features) that will redirect later the item to your dropshipper for replacement or refund.
3. monitor the quality and complains and switch dropshipper with high returns/refunds.

Depends on the product and provider.. Usually express is around $6/kg and air freight $4 to 5.
Sea freight is much cheaper but slower.

The race to the bottom is a dangerous game. Instead of lowering price try to offer unique product, a bundle, a set, to stand out from competition. You lowering the price will just make other sellers lower their price as well, and now everybody is making less profit with no added benefit.

Nick, Jewerly is super seller. Find it cheap on aliexpress, you typically spend $1.00 per item – $1.50 to acquire a customer – $2.00 Shipping and then we sell them for $15.00 + a $19.99 upsell which converts at like 20%...

Hi, I have one question, maybe someone could help me: What if I work with 3 providers from Aliexpress, and I make an upsell on my store, but each product is is from a different provider. So, my customer will have this separately, will I have to tell him/her that would come in different time? (something rare that figure I think (?))

This providers offer different things for the same niche, so their product are great for an upsell for the other provider.*

I think it does not matter if all comes same or not. People are not expecting all products to be in same pack these days, you know even with amazon many times the products are shipped separately even if you order same day.

Are you talking about amazon or shopify? On shopify it will say "Sold out" which is pretty cool for building urgency for other items.
On Amazon if you have no stock your listing is not displayed. You dont need to "close" it. Some people like to rise the prices before you run out of stock. The metrics will go down unfortunately. You need to plan your inventory better.
