If you do dropshipping then customer can return item to your forwarding address. If the item is cheap it's easier just refund without return.
I would like to ask few questions:
First I'm thinking of adding a donation component to my sales. so part of the profit goes to donation. Is it sounds reasonable, regarding the expenses ?
Second - as I said I live in the UK, will it be a mistake to sell only for the UK market in order to save costs of transaction fees, and saving shipping time. I'm not sure that the thinking is correct, but as I said, I'm a newbie.. thanks, gadi

Regarding the store - again it depends on what you plan to sell. See my video about branding talking about small brand or more general brand to have better idea!

I don't see a need to limit the amount of "free+shipping item" as long as you are making profits and have good margins
If you do "everything store" without a leading actor or a good story, then another approach can be used, for example contest giveaway, or buy 1 get 1 free, or flash sale or "free just pay for shipping gift" etc.
Warm = already saw you and needs further pushing to sale with retargeting!
Growing community takes a lot of patience, so keep going and growing it but dont expect fast results.
