Is Email DEAD?

As a business, no matter what you do, the most important thing for you to have is a great client list; and what better way to do that than through email right? Or maybe not…These days, a lot of marketers are going around and saying that email marketing is dead, is there any truth to these claims?

When asked for proof, they’ll quickly point to the fact that social media; Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms have done a pretty good job of putting the last nail in the coffin for email marketing and now nobody is using email anymore.

However, when we examine the facts, we find out that this is far from the truth. Check this out:

-Currently, there are about 2.586 billion email users worldwide, including both business and consumers

– 72% of consumers say email is their favored conduit of communication with companies they do business with.

– 66% of consumers have made online purchases as a result of email marketing messages

-One in five (19%) of consumers say they read every email newsletter they receive, just to see if something’s on offer.

These figures speak for themselves; using email is one of the most effective methods of marketing your products if you intend to reach a wider audience. Most of the so-called professionals/experts that claim email is dead are only out to sell you their “social media marketing products” After examining the facts, we can only conclude that Email marketing is not only alive, but it is THRIVING!

hi Cyril. Great question..

Actually, there are three ways, by air, by express & by sea.

By air:
1. shipped by major airlines, such as Air China, Japan Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia airlines, Northwest Airlines etc.
2. the goods will be shipped to airport and the client needs to do the customs clearance and pick up the goods by himself.

By express:
1. shipped by UPS, Fedex, EMS, TNT & DHL.
2. the goods will be shipped to the client's destination (door to door, such as Amazon warehouse). The express company will do the customs clearance.

By sea:
shipped by shipping company, such as Ma Shiji, COSCO, NYK, Kawasaki, Hanjin, United Arab Emirates, Sinotrans and so on.
Also can do Door to Door service.

The race to the bottom is a dangerous game. Instead of lowering price try to offer unique product, a bundle, a set, to stand out from competition. You lowering the price will just make other sellers lower their price as well, and now everybody is making less profit with no added benefit.

Think of doing a bundle or a set and RISE the price, not lower it

Hai, I am obsessed with online business. I have bought some e-commerce affiliate software, that is completed with with Youtube video review for every product I added. The e-commerce is linking to social media. It covered three affiliate : Amazon, Ebay, and Ali express. Organic traffic is about 8,000 visitors in 3 months, but ZERO affiliate hit. No sales. Then yesterday I saw this system. Here claimed can get usd 45,000/month if we follow all the guide. My question, if we just started with Shopify, and we follow the guide, is it possible to get that number? By some posting I read, the contribution is more come from FBA instead of Shopify. Nice to meet you all here.

Glad to have you here. There are many shops on shopify that are doing much more than 45k, it's a pretty modest number but after couple of years you should be doing much more than that. just take your time to learn!

Hi, I have one question, maybe someone could help me: What if I work with 3 providers from Aliexpress, and I make an upsell on my store, but each product is is from a different provider. So, my customer will have this separately, will I have to tell him/her that would come in different time? (something rare that figure I think (?))

This providers offer different things for the same niche, so their product are great for an upsell for the other provider.*

Claudia says at 02:05 et
I think it does not matter if all comes same or not. People are not expecting all products to be in same pack these days, you know even with amazon many times the products are shipped separately even if you order same day.

I thought it would be fun to ask people what they wanted to learn about (so I can customize my future emails to help YOU :-D).

Here's your first question...
