Is Email DEAD?

As a business, no matter what you do, the most important thing for you to have is a great client list; and what better way to do that than through email right? Or maybe not…These days, a lot of marketers are going around and saying that email marketing is dead, is there any truth to these claims?

When asked for proof, they’ll quickly point to the fact that social media; Twitter, Facebook, and other platforms have done a pretty good job of putting the last nail in the coffin for email marketing and now nobody is using email anymore.

However, when we examine the facts, we find out that this is far from the truth. Check this out:

-Currently, there are about 2.586 billion email users worldwide, including both business and consumers

– 72% of consumers say email is their favored conduit of communication with companies they do business with.

– 66% of consumers have made online purchases as a result of email marketing messages

-One in five (19%) of consumers say they read every email newsletter they receive, just to see if something’s on offer.

These figures speak for themselves; using email is one of the most effective methods of marketing your products if you intend to reach a wider audience. Most of the so-called professionals/experts that claim email is dead are only out to sell you their “social media marketing products” After examining the facts, we can only conclude that Email marketing is not only alive, but it is THRIVING!

With the new Amazon policies, Amazon does not allow incentivized reviews tied to free or discounted products. However they still allow discounts coupons and people can leave the reviews as long as you never ASK THEM TO or promise discount in return for a review.. See new video we posted about AMAZON launch and getting reviews legally with Followup series and social media!

Moreover discount sales will boost your amazon ranks a lot. It's still a great idea combining with Lightning Deals and PPC.

For me works best reaching influencers directly.. I never had much luck with those paid services, they are just a middleman.

My question is related to JONAS ... So how to count long term fees??

Claudia says at 21:13 et
On February 15 and August 15 of every year, FBA conducts an inventory cleanup. On these dates, inventory that has been in Amazon fulfillment centers between six and 12 months are assessed a long-term storage fee of $11.25 per cubic foot. Items that have been in fulfillment centers for 12 months or more on the inventory cleanup date are assessed a long-term storage fee of $22.50 per cubic foot. I am starting FBA and have 2 questions..
1. What is EAN/IAN??
2. What is FNSKU?

Claudia says at 21:20 et
1. It's European Article Number or International Article Number A 13 digit-10 data and 3 check -barcoding standard which is a superset of the original 12-digit Universal Product Code system.

2. Fulfillment Network Stock Keeping Unit... This number is used to identify a specific product to a specific seller within an Amazon Fulfillment Center. It's this that goes on your product as a label if you're selling FBA and not commingling

In short it works like this.. Amazon fulfillment centers pick, pack and ship a seller’s products, as well as providing customer service for products -all of this comes with a FbA fee 15-30% depending on the price

UPS is Universal Product Code A barcode used for tracking trade items in stores. It usually has 12 numerical digits, which are uniquely assigned to each traded item (GS1 US). You can buy it on speedybarcodes and other sites.

OMG!! today i see ... part of my inventory seems missing? what to do?

14
Claudia says at 21:23 et
Go to Inventory > Manage FBA Shipments and check if they were received correctly by warehouse? if not, file a report and amazon will research and investigate and credit you for missing or lost units. Finally, check to see if there have been any recent inventory adjustments by using the Inventory Adjustments Report and check to see if there are any ongoing warehouse transfers using the Inventory Event Detail Report.

Check with your supplier to see if they have product liability in placement for you first as a customer, as most do.

He means product liablity probably... If you have a professional account you have to have insurance. Under ATO all Pro accounts must have $1 mill liability insurance. Its pretty straight forward. Also If you sell $10k for 3 consecutive months on your "Individual account" you have to provide insurance. Check Amazon TOS!

Hi guys!

Great news, as you know I've been super active and super excited about the course, and today I'm glad to announce that I have added not 1, not 2 but 3 new great videos for you!

1. Exit Strategies: How to sell your business and buy other thriving businesses
This is a video showing why and how you can buy and sell the ecommerce businesses (small or big)

2. Fullproof tips how to avoid paying huge long term storage fees on Amazon FBA
THis is great to show you how to avoid pitfalls with storage fees and get rid of slow selling product!

3. Using Crowdsourcing Campaign to boost your sales and jump start your product (Case study)
I dont always win and this is a fun video showing how i failed in crowdsourcing on kickstarter but still made $10k along the way and what you can learn from my mistakes! I hope my story will give you great ideas on how to boost your sales with crowdfunding!

By the way if you enjoy our course, please let me know, I really appreciate your reviews and your comments and questions!

You joined the course on the insane low price for first early-bird 500 betatesters (you know similar courses usually charge $150-190 or more for way less content) so your early feedback is really important to me!

If you have any questions, let me know!

Hi there,
On my own I have set up my Shopify website with my domain, I have Oberlo and have imported lots of products and listed them, however, i am really not sure that they are worded right in the SEO way and I have been trying social marketing but still have no sales, I've been doing this for several weeks now. so I have just discovered Sells Like Hotcakes and thought that you may be able to help me with the marketing, the conversions and eventually with Amazon FBA is this something that you can do or because I have done most of the set up myself do you think I should continue on my own? I really am struggling to get past this rut where I have done everything I should do and no sales. Please help?

thanks in desperation!
Sallyann
