Don’t Underestimate Facebook ads: Here is why!

Hello everyone,

Hope you’re having a great time this week.

Today, let’s talk about Facebook advertising. Facebook is arguably the largest and fastest growing social media network out there, with a whopping figure of 1.39 billion active users every month. This looks like a business opportunity ripe for the taking. Unfortunately, a lot of Amazon and Shopify newbies actually have no idea about this gold mine sitting right under their nose. Others who feel they’re experts simply ignore the potential here and perhaps have grown complacent and are satisfied with their current results.

Regardless of where you fall experience wise, Facebook advertisement is a great opportunity and you should start paying attention to it. Aside from its low costs, as a seller, you must remain conversant with the trends and happenings of this era. Social media happens to be one of those trends, and it will be unwise if you fail to seize the moment.

In 2016 alone, studies showed that social media advertising budgets have doubled up globally within the past 2 years—going from $16 billion U.S. in 2014 to $31 billion in 2016. In 2017, analysts predicted a 26.3% global increase on spending for social media ads. This should tell you something; a lot of businesses are now seeing the potential social media holds in the area of marketing and advertising. DON’T be left behind.

Facebook advertisement is secure, convenient, cost efficient and very user-friendly. You would be doing yourself a great service advertising your listing on Facebook. So if you’re a newcomer, you need not worry about costs or any other complexities, and if you are an old-timer who hasn’t started making use of Facebook advertising, you should really consider doing so, you just might be missing out on additional sales and profits.

Here at sell like hot cakes, we are fully cognizant of the opportunities Facebook presents, and we have developed courses that will see you through virtually every aspect of marketing and advertising via Facebook. Even if you are already using Facebook ads, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that there is always room for growth and improvement. In our video course, we’ll teach you step by step, how to build an attractive and trustworthy Facebook page for your e-commerce business, tips for driving traffic to your store and using viral videos. Professional for sure! Get LLC State Registration to protect yourself legally. Important: To Sell In USA you don’t have to live there or have USA company/Bank acc! Plus you get all the features of PPC, Lightning deals etc.
Cons? Small monthly amazon fee.

Claudia says at 21:16 et
"Free On Board" is a term in international commercial law specifying at what point respective obligations, costs, and risk involved in the delivery of goods shift from the seller to the buyer. Indicating "FOB port" means that the seller pays for transportation of the goods to the port of shipment, plus loading costs. The buyer pays cost of marine freight transport, insurance, unloading, and transportation from the arrival port to the final destination. The passing of risks occurs when the goods are loaded on board at the port of shipment.

DHL Express for all international shipments. IT's 20% more expensive than USPS but it will provide international tracking and it's much faster as well. For example $30 for 16 ounces (500 gram) in DHL to Australia.. (discounted rate) get account with them!

It's Importer Security Filing.. As the importer, you are required to file some basic information before the cargo departs overseas and arrives in the US. Your freight forwarder will always taken care of this but double check always!

Hello Im a fresh rookie Im a little confused on the Goal of 45,000.00 .....It reads...."Our goal is to make at least $10 per product per sale and at least make 10 sales per
day from each product, which means from five products, we are going to make
$45,000 at least per month plus your Shopify store profits and, of course, minus the
cost of sales, production, shipping and advertising. Our estimated profit is $45,000
per month. Well you can’t live with that but you would agree it’s a good start "

Is that goal only when you start with Amazon, or still good if you take the Shopify to start with...?

Welcome Andres. $10 per product per sale and 10 sales is a universal rule of thumb for any ecommerce store. 10-10 rule some people call it. It's same rule no matter if you start shopify or amazon or even better BOTH channels combined.

I agree, starting both is a way to go, you never know the future and which source will be more profitable for your product or niche! Good luck!

I want to open a store selling oils and alternative health products. Will there be issues shipping to the U.S. like customs?

 Violet says at 04:54 et
It's hard to say, are you shipping in mass quantities or one by one? Usually anything for personal use does not go to customs. Best advice here is to find your competitors selling same and then ask their support something like "Hi, I am from Chicago, do you ship your oils to USA and do I have to pay any taxes?" So they will help you this way :)

I guess in mass quantities; I can use the Amazon FBA so they can tackle customs. But for shipping one by one, from your answer, it seems I will not have issues shipping to the US or Europe. In India(where I live), however, they charge customs even if it is a single item and for personal use. So, I think I should be okay. I will use the trick you mentioned too. Cheers!
