Welcome to community! You will love it here! Regarding your question - Make a deal with your supplier or get your own Fedex and DHL account. Usually a big factory that ships a lot get special deals and lower rates on shipping.

No.. Amazon will not be the importer of record for any shipment coming in from overseas. Your shipment will be rejected. Your freight forwarder should take care of this! For example I use Flexport..

JAY - Cargo Insurance, Customs Bond, Arrival Agent Fees, Warehousing fees, Delivery to amazon warehouse fee and of course Custom clearance.. Your freight forwarder should take care of this and give you invoice if any taxes are due!

Daniel, there are actually quite a lot of them including watches, jewelry, health and personal care, grocery, collectibles, beauty, automotive, clothes and accessories, and also luggage and travel accessories. So all these categories are selling really well. That’s why, guys, a lot of people are trying to get ungated and approved in these categories. And, obviously, the best of the best are those three: grocery, health and personal care, and beauty categories.

In the past, it was actually very easy to get ungated. The requirements are different in each category, but in general, what you need is to provide commercial invoices, and I really mean commercial invoices and not receipts or so-called pro forma invoices

Those invoices must be dated within the last 90 days and they must have your name or business name on them, they must have contact information of your business address, phone number, email, and website, and must have names of the products that you purchased, and of course, they must have documents issuer name, address, phone number, and email, and website. And you can obscure pricing information if you want.

There are a lot of so-called ungating scams on Amazon. Those services are offering you guaranteed ungating for like $400 or $300 payment, but you need to understand that there are no guarantees and nobody can influence Amazon’s decisions

Just got ungated....only took two weeks....had to get an invoice from the manufacturer and a screenshot of the FDA registration from the manufacturers account...

if you are just starting out, I would highly recommend that you first avoid categories that require ungating, all of these categories. So there are thousands of thousands other categories that you can start selling in so there is no shortage of categories and most of them don’t require any approval or ungating. And then, if you really want to scale up your business and you want to really grow, then you can start ungating process if you already have success of other products in other categories.

Use feedbackgenius or sellerbacker.. After the client left positive reviews under seller feedback you automatically ask if they'd be interested in sharing their experience with the product on the product page! Works like charm.

Hi there,
On my own I have set up my Shopify website with my domain, I have Oberlo and have imported lots of products and listed them, however, i am really not sure that they are worded right in the SEO way and I have been trying social marketing but still have no sales, I've been doing this for several weeks now. so I have just discovered Sells Like Hotcakes and thought that you may be able to help me with the marketing, the conversions and eventually with Amazon FBA is this something that you can do or because I have done most of the set up myself do you think I should continue on my own? I really am struggling to get past this rut where I have done everything I should do and no sales. Please help?
