3 Business Opportunities that Make E-commerce Worth-it

It is no news that e-commerce is changing the way we do business and market products. With the continuous rise in technological advancement; there is no limit to the potential e-commerce poses to the future of business. Now, people can just turn on their computers, order what they want and have it arrive within a few days, but it even further than just buying and selling. Key aspects of doing business have been transformed, and the opportunities this change presents for businesses are numerous. Let’s look at some of them:

Handling Customer care support

Providing routine customer support can be quite exhausting, especially if they keep asking the same questions over and over and over again… 🙁 Any good entrepreneur knows that the customer is the business, and thus, must not be ignored. To this effect, one can make use of the internet to automate certain facets of customer support. For instance, you can put up the most frequently asked questions (FAQ’s) on your website or even post detailed technical information concerning your operations; this will not only help your customers, but it will also provide insights into your business for your website visitors.

Doing Pre- Sales

Depending on how you setup your website; it can be utilized in handling pre-sale undertakings. This simply means you will be taking advantage of the internet and its many users. Pre-sale campaigns can be used to generate leads, market your products, launch email campaigns and entice your visitors with bonuses and promotional materials. Pre-sale campaign encompasses a variety of activities and it will be very useful to your business if you can go about it the right way

Direct Selling

In the areas of music and software, direct selling has been employed as the chief method for selling goods and services online. Why is this so? Simple! This is because it is very easy to make the delivery of the said goods online. Selling online has a lot of contours to it; one thing is for sure, if you’re employing direct selling, you need to ensure that every detail of the operation is accounted for.

To ensure you succeed, it is extremely important you adhere to the strict rules of consistency and focus. Like I’ve always said, you need to have well-defined goals and a great system in place to measure your success; this would help you know what is working and what isn’t.

The great scientist Albert Einstein once exclaimed; “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”

Stick to these principles, be ready to change when things aren’t working as planned and you will find yourself getting closer to your goals.

Until next time…

The race to the bottom is a dangerous game. Instead of lowering price try to offer unique product, a bundle, a set, to stand out from competition. You lowering the price will just make other sellers lower their price as well, and now everybody is making less profit with no added benefit.

Think of doing a bundle or a set and RISE the price, not lower it

Try cashcowpro split test tools for A/B split tests. also Greg from jungle scout has similar tools i think. Split test only makes sense if you sell A LOT of units per day, else it's irrelevant, as data sample is too small.

Also Splitly just for price testing but testing cover photos is a good idea too.

They are pretty good, you must understand that real numbers only amazon knows, all the tools can use the estimates based on the BSR approximation!

hi after taking the steps to show you my store I realised that i did it in hast and have closed it, by the way thanks for all the comments they were super useful!
I am going for my original niche and I have several ideas for others once im up and running. I am very impressed by the help you get here, from the keyword, title generator, the filler and bullet point generator and everything else, all great in helping newbies like myself.
i would like to ask that once i have my shop up and running and looking great would it be an option to do a full launch campaign with one of the email companies to send out emails to your target audience? I have seen ones advertised and I am realistic about the feedback and actual conversions but i don't have an email list yet and this seems to be a great option. let me know

thanks

how much should i charge for international shipping for "free + shipping offers"? If a client buys a "free+shipping offer" directly from my site more than once - how much should i charge for every "free+shipping item" added?

It's hard to say without knowing your product, location or shipping costs how much you should charge. Best tip here is see what competitor is charging so you will get a rough idea. Maybe $19.95 for a Tshirt or $9.95 for a Mug

I don't see a need to limit the amount of "free+shipping item" as long as you are making profits and have good margins

can I open USA shopify account? If yes what are the things I need? Thanks

 Lane says at 19:07 et
You need to do your research. To open USA shopify account you will need VPN, some USA forwarding address. But to use USA payment systems you will need more work - US company and bank account. You might also partner with someone from USA.

Hi,
I have finished watching the video about "incorporation and taxes" but I'm lost. If I understood correctly the suggested way to open a seller central account is as a professional.
-What do I need to open a professional account?
-Do I need a LLC? bank account? address??
Can someone explain ---> my situation will be "Rest of the world selling in the US"
Thank you!

You need an LLC, Bank account and a credit card. Yes your company does not have to be from USA even if you plan to sell in USA
