What do I do about state taxes? What's nexus?

 jo says at 21:15 et
You are responsible for collecting and remitting sales tax to a jurisdiction if you have established substantial presence in the state of delivery. Once established, you have created nexus. The threshold for this presence differs from state to state and a company’s presence in each state should be examined to determine if nexus has been established or not. A company clearly has nexus if there is a business location in the state/jurisdiction. Once you establish nexus, you are required to register as a retailer with each state before collecting sales tax for that state. What shipment method is best from US to overseas for my products?

DHL Express for all international shipments. IT's 20% more expensive than USPS but it will provide international tracking and it's much faster as well. For example $30 for 16 ounces (500 gram) in DHL to Australia.. (discounted rate) get account with them!

Paypal accounts for about 45% of our sales. I'd say 20% of conversations are coming from Amazon. Also add Stripe and they'll have a much more straightforward guest checkout with credit card.

1.Whats BSR??
2. Whats MOQ?

Uncle Sam says at 21:48 et
BSR... BSR (best sellers rank) is how well you are ranked on amazon.. the smaller the number the better!
Ideally you must be under 10,000 BSR to get 5-10 sales per day!

How to do SPLIT TESTS??? i mean for amazon listing

 Emma says at 17:37 et
Try cashcowpro split test tools for A/B split tests. also Greg from jungle scout has similar tools i think. Split test only makes sense if you sell A LOT of units per day, else it's irrelevant, as data sample is too small.

Also Splitly just for price testing but testing cover photos is a good idea too.

How do you know if the Traffic is Warm hot or cold? I want to launch an AD right away can i just start targeting my niche with different variations of ads right away as i am not looking for comments etc just sales. The FB ADS training is a little unclear.

 Mike says at 16:20 et
hi James. The traffic that never saw your brand is a cold one. Imagine you have a spokeperson that is doing all the selling in the video. So to warm up the traffic, people need to know more about him and get used to see him as a head of community, as expert in your niche, so they start to buy from him.

If you do "everything store" without a leading actor or a good story, then another approach can be used, for example contest giveaway, or buy 1 get 1 free, or flash sale or "free just pay for shipping gift" etc.

Cold = never heard of your brand or product
Warm = already saw you and needs further pushing to sale with retargeting!

Hello All,

I am launching a wellness and health niche on shopify. We have our private labeled products and also connected to aliexpress. How can I selectively charge shipping on our private labelled products and not charge on aliexpress products? Thank you

 Chris says at 05:24 et
Uma, two ways...
1. set the shipping zones in shipping settings
2. add shipping cost in price for your private label products and make shipping appear free.
