Creative Ways To Start Generating Ideas For Your e-commerce Business

Ideas are what make the world go round; from everyday mundane things to great scientific innovations and business concepts, virtually everything you see around was once an idea that existed in the mind of an individual. It is no surprise that generating innovative ideas is important in the e-commerce business world; new ideas will bring fresh products to the market, new ways of strategizing and improving your business all round.

This is great news, only if you know how to generate useful ideas that you can implement into your system, which will take your business to new heights. Coming up with innovative ideas may require some brainstorming; to do this, you must ensure that you remain focused on your goals. You can begin by focusing on a few thoughts or themes at a time and see what you are able to come up with.

When generating ideas it is very important you make a distinction of what exactly you want to do. Today, a lot of people are apt to mistake improvement for innovation. You should note that innovation involves creating a brand new product or having a brand new idea, basically, this is doing what nobody has thought of doing before, while improvement is simply building your ideas within familiar bounds. The former involves a lot of risks, but if successful has the capacity to completely astonish your customers, while the latter involves little risk and may not necessarily blow anybody away.

The truth is that there is no sure roadmap to follow when generating ideas, but there are cues you can use to help ease the process for you.  I’ll share some of them with you:

  • Question the norm: Don’t conform to the norm, always question why things are the way they are. The more you challenge the norm, the better your chances will be able at identifying problems, problems that are waiting for you to create their solutions.
  • Change your perspective: when it comes to solving problems, try to view the issue from multiple dimensions, don’t be rigid in your approach. Ask questions like; “What are the consequences of not solving this problem?” “Why do I need to solve this problem?” “What are the obstacles here?” These questions will help you think things through and see the whole picture.

Like we mentioned earlier, there is no true roadmap to creative ideas, but if you can utilize these techniques, you will never find yourself short of ideas for your business or other aspects of your life.

Just make sure you don't stuck in "research" stage for too long. When I started I kept researching far too long and missed a hot summer sale season for my summer products. There is never ideal product with no competition and perfect conditions. Just TAKE ACTION and START SELLING!

Super exciting news guys! I just came from the Sellers Summit conference in Miami, it’s the biggest Amazon seller conference in USA organized by Steve Chou

?I had a unique chance to see in person and to talk and listen to the industry leaders such as Greg Mercer (the creator of Jungle Scout), Scott Voelker (the creator of The amazing seller podcast) and of course Manuel Becvar, the creator of ImportDojo and Number 1 Best selling Amazon Course on Udemy.

I had also a chance to talk to Manuel after the session and even made a short video interview where he is going to share his secrets and insights on how to choose the right product and avoid getting scammed. Once I get back home from the trip, I will edit and release the video, really great stuff.

The conference was really amazing, a lot of great new strategies, tips and tricks on what is working RIGHT NOW on Amazon. However the biggest surprise for me was that most people have not started yet, they are stuck in the research phase and take too much time picking the product. That’s why I plan to release more videos with helpful tips and ideas on how to pick the right product, right from the start.

During the conference we had a great chance to talk to ex-amazon employees and see how it all works. The biggest thing you need to know is that Amazon is BOOMING right now and it is also cracking down on the shady sellers and scammers, that means you have a great timing to get started and take a piece of the 250 billion dollar industry! Don’t miss out and take action, the timing can’t be better!

Setting your passive income should be the highest priority and will set you up for life.
