Exposed! The Truth About Outsourcing: What you need to know

Outsourcing simply means hiring another company or individual (outside of your business sphere) to handle certain tasks for your business. These people could either provide labor or some other type of service for you for a fee. In today’s business world, outsourcing is now the norm.

A lot of companies are into it right now, but why is this so? What are the benefits of having outsiders handle crucial tasks that can make or mar your business?

A recent study has revealed that cutting costs is the number one reason people outsource. When it comes to the world of e-commerce, hiring employees to take on tasks like web design, management, and operational services can be quite expensive. The alternative is to outsource these jobs at a cheaper rate.

Another reason for outsourcing is that it is now relatively easier to find individuals or organizations to work for you. The internet has effectively shrunk the world down into a global village; now there are websites that are specially designed as a base for outsourcing.

Fiverr and Upwork are very good examples, here, you can find professionals that are willing to help you manage your business in different areas, ranging from your website to article generation, graphics designs, blog management, product research, SEO, etc.

The list of outsourcing jobs is virtually endless, and these people can be hired at a cheaper rate when compared to maintaining the traditional employee. In the end, if you select the right individuals, you will be getting the same service or even something better in contrast with hiring an employee.

However, as a true entrepreneur, you cannot leave everything to your remote workers. You will have to show up from time to time to monitor the progress of your work and ensure everything goes smoothly. Another key thing to note is that everything usually works fine if and ONLY if you pick the right people to work with, having said that, the onus then lies on you to ensure your partners are efficient, trustworthy and reliable. I will suggest you test out any potential hire first with samples of work, and gradually build your relationship to the point you can trust him/her.

Like I mentioned earlier, today, we are living in a global village. A big but small, small world; it would be counterproductive to decide to handle everything by yourself. Outsourcing is the key to making your business run smoother, faster and much more efficiently, provided it is done the right way.

Hope this helps you out.

Great idea George.. The best thing is shopify is not just for dropshipping! You can sell your own products and even fullfill by amazon for your shopify sales. Check ByteStand and several other apps for AMAZON integration into shopify

What do I need to have to sell in EUROPE?? in pan european seller central

Claudia says at 21:27 et
Business registration in an EU country or company in EU, VAT registration in every country where your inventory is held, (usually its UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, and the Czech Republic) Also need CE certification. then you do in future also Annual income tax filings in your EU registered country, Monthly VAT filings in your registered countries, Annual, quarterly, or monthly filings of your activities with Interstat (the frequency depends on your sales volumes), A continuous customs bond for Schengen countries.
Continuous customs bonds for non-Schengen countries (basically the UK). There are companys that handle all that paperwork like FBA-Hero, check resources sections..

Try Aweber.com , convertkit.com , getresponse, mailchimp or icontact. I used almost all of them, pretty easy, drag and drop email creation... Make sure to watch our video about Email Mastery as well ;)

My advice for people who are not successful with dropshipping/shopify - remember its not just about the product but the ads strategy!without building REAL community cold traffic ads just don't work to the cold traffic. I see others who are successful with dropshipping among my partners do a serious community and devote great effort into building it (like baby / moms community) or funny products community.
paying just for clicks to cold traffic with no community just does not work, no matter how hard you work or how much you test! So my advice is first build a facebook community before paying for facebook ads. there is some great video about it in the sells like hot cakes course in the end of the shopify mastery.

I used the Amazon best seller finder for a keyword. All the results sound encouraging. But I am confused with one of the messages, "Reviews: top 10 sellers have average 3757 reviews (At least 2 of 10 have 50 reviews or less. Recommended <150 reviews average)"
Does this indicate it's worthwhile? It says 3757, and recommended is less than 150. I am unable to interpret as the other results are great. Please help(and explain what they mean)!

It means they have many reviews probably so it's a very popular niche most likely. If the all other numbers sound good i would not be concerned. I think you mentioned you sell oils? so maybe instead of general oils try more specific like "facial oils" or "massage oils" or "lavanda oils" so it's more nichey

That's great. If the reviews are too less and the other numbers are right what's the course of action? Just curious.

Thank you for your suggestion on making the niche specific- very helpful!

Cheers.

Dont worry about reviews so much, it's becoming less important after last year Amazon's review policy update.

Super exciting news guys! I just came from the Sellers Summit conference in Miami, it’s the biggest Amazon seller conference in USA organized by Steve Chou

?I had a unique chance to see in person and to talk and listen to the industry leaders such as Greg Mercer (the creator of Jungle Scout), Scott Voelker (the creator of The amazing seller podcast) and of course Manuel Becvar, the creator of ImportDojo and Number 1 Best selling Amazon Course on Udemy.

I had also a chance to talk to Manuel after the session and even made a short video interview where he is going to share his secrets and insights on how to choose the right product and avoid getting scammed. Once I get back home from the trip, I will edit and release the video, really great stuff.
?
The conference was really amazing, a lot of great new strategies, tips and tricks on what is working RIGHT NOW on Amazon. However the biggest surprise for me was that most people have not started yet, they are stuck in the research phase and take too much time picking the product. That’s why I plan to release more videos with helpful tips and ideas on how to pick the right product, right from the start.

During the conference we had a great chance to talk to ex-amazon employees and see how it all works. The biggest thing you need to know is that Amazon is BOOMING right now and it is also cracking down on the shady sellers and scammers, that means you have a great timing to get started and take a piece of the 250 billion dollar industry! Don’t miss out and take action, the timing can’t be better!

Wait… You don’t have time to start ecommerce business? I heard that million times. Truth is, we all have same amount of time, it’s only about HOW you spend your time and what your priorities are. Setting your passive income should be the highest priority and will set you up for life. You don’t have to quit your job, just start it part time, in the evening, on the weekends and you will have a great passive income stream that will bring you money for years to come.

Today during the lunch break I talked to George, he started his coffee related business on Amazon just 7 months ago (on the side from his main job) but already making over $15,000 in sales every month. All is possible! He did not quit his job.. but he might soon

That’s why the best time to get started is right now!

Stay tuned for more videos and updates! And remember if you have any questions, let me know!

Mike

hi Juan. It depends a lot on your niche. There are stores with just 1 or 3 products. There are stores with thousands of products. If you sell a pill or something really unique then the less products the better. IF you sell more like everything store then the more the better.
