How to Overcome Fear & Take your Business to the Next Level!

Without a doubt, fear is a helpful emotion. It can prevent us from putting our hands in fire and getting burnt and also help us make calculated risks when it comes to business, but the other side of fear that we must be cognizant of is its huge demerits.

Everything has demerits and merits, all that matters is how it is utilized. As we have indicated above, fear has merits, but it wouldn’t be wise to only consider the positives, as every good business person knows, when considering any matter, one must look at all angles.

What are the demerits of fear?

Well for one, fear is capable of shrinking your dreams and robbing you off the vision you have for your business. It can make mediocre obstacles look like giants, thus killing your drive for success.

As an entrepreneur, you will come in touch with fear, virtually everyday; whether it is about the new products you’re working on in a Chinese factory or the fear of not having enough sales to reach your monthly profit target, whether you’d like to admit it or not, fear is a regular acquaintance of the entrepreneur.

So how do you overcome fear?

Change the way you think: Fear originates in our mind and in our thoughts, so the best way to stop fear in its track is to rewire our thoughts. Focus on the positive things you have going for yourself and your business, ignore the negatives. Keep telling yourself you can make it, place your dreams and goals at the center of your mind and ignore any other distraction. If you don’t change your thoughts, circumstance and environment will do it for you. Take charge!

Construct a Plan:  A business plan isn’t only good for setting the road map for the future of your business, it can also assist you in overcoming the fear of the unknown. If you have mapped out the steps you will take at every point in your business, you leave no room for fear of what will happen when you reach a certain level because you have already prepared for it.

Take on your fears: Challenge yourself and venture into those domains that give you goose bumps. There is no better way to beat your fears than doing those things that scare you. This way, you make your mind stronger and more tenable to taking risks. Stepping out of your comfort zone can be hard, but trust me, in the end, it is always worth it.

As we mentioned earlier, fear has advantages as well, but we should recognize the damage that out of control fear can wreck in our lives and businesses. It is therefore paramount that we take advantage of the situation and bring ourselves to a place of fearlessness and confidence. With a positive and healthy mental atmosphere, we are capable of anything, we can achieve our dreams and reach our full potential!

On shopify you can increase your profits margins by increasing your prices, as your visitors cant compare your offer to competitor offers like on Amazon and pick cheapest.
Moreover you can build your list and drive your own traffic from facebook (you would not do it to amazon, as you cant build your list from amazon)... Cons? Well, you won't get easy organic sales like on Amazon just from having shopify store. So still you need to drive some traffic to get it going! but it works, I know many people sell their own products on shopoify not just dropshippers!

You can get direct support through seller support.. Use the contact seller support link at the bottom of the page and request response by call back, they will call you if it is an issue which can be dealt with on the phone. Also I found following Amazon.com 866-216-1072

Boost post is the same as using ads manager if you already created audience and just want to quickly boost the post for $10-15 when building community.

Uma, two ways...
1. set the shipping zones in shipping settings
2. add shipping cost in price for your private label products and make shipping appear free.
